not only show the elements of architecture and characteristics of war skills, but also
confirm the historiographicalylosing the Bosnian independence, reported on exam-
ples of town Ključ, where captured and later executed, the last Bosnian King Stjepan
Tomašević. The richness of the old towns of this region was confirmed by research
and thus created the possibility for various government institutions to that fact, as
well as the comparative advantage of high-value space, additional uses in their work.
From the contents of the presented work of diligent authors, it is recognizable the-
ir experience in the study of the cultural heritage of this part of Bosnia and Herzego-
vina, which has allowed them a specific way, analytically and synthetically, evaluated
their worth by giving a large contribution to the research value of fortifications. An
important contribution of their research is to the reconstruction of destroyed facilities,
which supposed to returnedthis area to its recognition in the European framework.
The authors’idea of the presentation the versatility of the development process of
the old cities accentuated by wealth elapsed life in them, was completely successful
and I recommend publishing this book as soon as possible.
