KAMENGRAD
In the first half of the 18
th
century Kamengrad was guarded by crew of 200 border
guards. Until half of the same century this town became the center of Captaincy and
Qadi district. The crew was formed in the 17
th
century and in second half of the 18
th
century its captains were members of Cerić family. According to the official document
from 1833 this town was considerably devastated and it had only three cannons. In
1838 this town was totally deserted.
