O
n the rocky hill above village Donji Kamengrad near Sanski Most today can be
seen just insignificant remains of old town Kamengrad. For the first time in
sources this town was mentioned in 1374 in tribal state of Sana as property of Dukes
Babonićs of Blagaj.
It fell under the Ottomans' authority in 1463 and permanent military crew was
settled in it.
