he old town Havala is settled on the right bank of Una River on a steep hill near
Kulen Vakuf. This town was built in the Ottomans' period in the first half of the
18
th
century. Its base is quadrangle and on the angles of its rampart were two trenches.
On one of the rampart angles was mosque and under the mosque town gate. Havala
had permanent crew till the third decade of the 19
th
century.
