BOSANSKA KRUPA
In 1565 it fell under the Ottomans' authority and became a seat of Krupa Capta-
incy. This captaincy included Otoka, Bužim, Jezerski, Vrnograč and Todorovo too.
Even since 1586 Krupa was relatively good protected position with 300 border guards.
In the beginning of the 17
th
century it had 130 guards and by the middle of the same
century had 232. In the first half of the 18
th
century the fortress had 500 border guards
with two bigger and four smaller cannons. Crew included four branches- all except
martoloses. There were 3 positions under protection: fortress, bridge in Krupa and
tower “Fila”.
