I
t is a wooden tower from the second half of the 16
th
century, and it was under the
command of captain in Bihać. It was located on Una River between Brekovica and
Gata and it was meant for posting the guard. In 1563 there were four guardhouses in
it and someone even suggested building up one more watchtower with eight guards.
It fell under the Ottomans' command in 1565 and became deserted and uninhabited.
Today it is found in a bad condition. There are only foundations of tower with circular
base and pile of rocks.
