Conclusion
The research and publication of researched papers are attached for sources of
knowledge about the historical continuity of the village residents and Bosnia and
Herzegovina, where they used the ancient, medieval, Ottoman and European sour-
ces, travel envoys and other passengers, spyware descriptions and maps, as well as
various documents on trade, diplomacy, war, and also a very important field research
and study of material remains of past civilizations. Eminent authors of published
papers are: Vaclav Radimsky, Truhelka, L Thaloczy, K. Hörmann, Vejsil Ćurčić, P. is
Đ. Mazalić, R. Lopasic, M. Mandic, V. Skarić, J. Petrovic, Duro Basler, Ivo Bojanovski
Kreševljaković Hamdi, M. Vego, H. Kapidzic, Husref Redzic, M. Kozličić, M. Kruhek
and many others who partially processed area of ​Una-Sana Canton. Thanks to their
work, the Institute for Protection of Cultural Heritage of Bihac, was able to make this
topic and fieldwork significantly enrich, documented and published.
Previous book “Old towns of the Una-Sana Canton” printed for the occasion of
the European Heritage 2006th years, treated the 38th Old cities whose physical traces
in varying degrees of preservation still bear witness to their number of the existance,
significance, specific function, position, disposition, method of construction, especi-
ally related to the life of their formation, existence and condition of social relations.
Fulfilling its statutory obligation, the Institute for Protection of Cultural Heritage
was in 2012., promoted Register with the status, immovable and movable property
of cultural heritage of Una-Sana Canton, as a public document. Specified register is
continuously updated, in the long process of research (particularly using georadar),
documentation, maintenance, evaluation, protection, and renewals thereof, which
awaits more future generations of different specialties.
To this subject, a valuable contribution was given by the National Committee of
ICOMOS in Bosnia and Herzegovina (International Council on Monuments and Sites
- The International Council for Monuments and Sites), who in 2012th printed book
„Stari gradovi Bosne i Hercegovine“ /Old Casteles of Bosnia and Hercegovina/, which
